BOXED & EXCEEDINGLY RARE Winchester, Model 61, Marked .22 SHORT, MFG. 1933 SN: 9751, Pump Action Take-down Rifle, 24'' Tapered OCTAGON barrel, Very rare & desirable 2nd year .22 Short Only. The vast majority of Model 61's have round barrels, octagon examples are limited, with the ''SHORT'' only specimens being the rarest configuration. The factory flat knob pistol grip stocks are like new, with only a couple of tiny storage marks. The original metal blue finish rates 98% on the barrel, 99% on the receiver, 97% on the mag tube, with loss due to storage & some pump action wear. Blued checkered metal buttplate, Factory sights. Bore is minty. Comes with a Winchester ''Picture Box'', with a SN matching end label, dividers, wax paper wrap, Model 61 brochure, safety brochure & warranty card. These short only rifles are highly collectible & this boxed, early production, all original & high condition example is very collectible.* FFL or C&R Req - Value: 6000 to 8000
