Winchester, Model 52 Target Rifle, CAL: 22 LR, MFG: 1929, SN: 18269, Bolt Action Rifle, 28'' barrel. The original flat pistol grip & finger-groove wood stock is excellent, with light scrapes, scratches & dings to the original finish. The orignal metal blue finish rates 80% on the barrel, 20% on receiver, with areas of loss toning to a brown patina. Bore is excellent, with defined rifling. The receiver holds the correct flip-up ladder sight & the barrel holds the silhouette front sight. No rear sight provision, instead the barrel is fitted with factory scope blocks, which carry Winchester scope rings & a Winchester A5 scope. Proof stamping on receiver & barrel were correctly stamped to the left side allowing for the factory mounted scope. Buttstock carries a checkered metal buttplate. Sling loop on stock & front barrel band. Small drilled hole in belly of forend 7'' from tip. Original Winchester stamped detachable mag. An excellent & original condition, factory scoped 52 target.
