Winchester, Model 74, Marked .22 LONG RIFLE Cal., MFG. 1941, SN: 74283, Semi-Auto Rifle, 24'' Tapered round barrel, This is an example of the early Pre-War variation with a 2'' longer barrel & the blunt forend tip to the stock. The original flat pistol grip wood stock is very good, with several minor scuffs & dings to the thinning original finish. Factory metal blue is 80% on barrel. 70% on the receiver. Bore is excellent. Factory sights. Loads through mag located in the stock. Pre-War variation normally commands a 25% premium. Original semi-auto .22. FFL or C&R Req - Value: 250 to 500
