Parker Bros, Model PH ''Grade 1'', CAL: 12GA, MFG: 1917, SN: 175554, Break Action SxS Shotgun, 30'' Twisted Steel barrels. The original checkered & capped pistol grip stocks are very good & solid. There are a few popped grains on the right side of the stock next to the buttplate, along with contusions, scratches, scrapes & protective oils added over time which has contributed to darkening. There is a blank silver shield initial plate on the belly. The twisted steel barrels are excellent, with a prominent twist pattern & an appealing dark brown patina. There a couple minor dings on the right barrel. The receiver is case-hardened, with remnants of case-colors in protected areas, but has mostly worn to gun metal grey, with a thin brown patina. The receiver, break lever, barrel ends, trigger guard & forend metal components all display simple ornamental engraving. Bores are excellent, with intermittent rough patches & striations from honest use. The solid matted rib holds a single front bead. Stock carries an original checkered/ dog's head Parker buttplate. A very nice example that presents well. LOP: 14 1/4'', DAH: 2 1/8'', DAC: 1 5/8''. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 1500 to 3500
