F.A.B Arms, Model ''California Special'' (Spanish Made) UMBE Trademark, CAL: 20GA, MFG: 1960's-70's, SN: 20300, Break Action SxS Shotgun, 27 7/8'' barrels. The original checkered & capped pistol grip wood stocks are excellent. There are minor scrapes, nicks & dings to the high gloss finish. There is a blank silver oval initial plate on the belly of the stock. The metal blue finish on the barrels rates 98% & the receiver is case-hardened, retaining full case-colors. Both sides of the receiver display a mallard game scene, accompanied by simple ornamental engraving. The barrel ends, break lever, trigger guard & screws also display similar engraving. Bores are excellent, with intermittent roughness & wear patterns. The solid matted rib holds a single front bead. Stock has a ventilated black rubber recoil pad. Double triggers. LOP: 14 1/4'', DAH: 1 3/4'', DAC: 1 1/8''. FFL Req. - Value: 400 to 800
