BOXED & CASED, Winchester, Parker Reproduction Model DHE 20, CAL: 20GA, MFG: 1983-88, SN: 20-5558, Break Action SxS Shotgun, Choke: MOD/IMP, 28'' round barrels. These guns were made to be identical to the original Parkers & are so well manufactured that it's said the parts are interchangeable. Due to high quality & affordability compared to an original Parker, they have become increasingly popular & collectible. In 1999, a hurricane destroyed all remaining, inventory, parts & factory records, assuring their scarcity. This fine example shows very light, if any use at all. The checkered & capped pistol grip stock is excellent, with exceptional grain & color. The checkering is crisp & finish is immaculate. The receiver retains 99%+ case-coloring. The receiver displays a bird dog scene on either side & a pheasant game scene on the bottom. Surrounding those vignettes is intricate ornamental scroll engraving. The blued barrels & trigger guard rate 99%+. Minty bores. Single selective trigger. The solid, matted rib carries a single front bead. The buttstock holds an original engraved, checkered & metal bordered buttplate. A wonderful Parker Reproduction DHE in the original Italian leather bound case w/ canvas protective cover & keys.
