Marlin, Model 55 '' The Original Marlin Goose Gun'', CAL: 12 GA, MFG: 1954-64, SN: 25709264, Bolt Action Shotgun, RARE 36'' barrel. The original flat pistol grip stock is excellent. There are scrapes & scratches to the original finish. There is an open stud hole ahead of the current sling stud. The metal blue finish on the barrel rates 97%, with some light rust speckling & one small areas of pitting on the underside. The receiver rates 98%, with numerous small dings. The receiver is also tapped & drilled on the left side, with two open screw holes. Bore is excellent & bright. The barrel holds a single front bead. Stock carries a ventilated black rubber recoil pad. Sling loops & leather sling. Comes with extra mag. Gold tone trigger. A nice condition original Marlin Goose Gun. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 500 to 1000
