Harpers Ferry, M1842, Cal: .69, MFG: 1850, S/N: N/A, Percussion muzzleloader, 42'' Barrel. The straight wrist wood sock is very good with dings, dents, scratches, & wear from use/age, tight 1'' crack on right side of stock emanating from rear of lock plate, ''N'' marked into left side of stock by cheek weld. The metal has worn to a gun metal gray with spots of brown patina & small spots of light cleaned pitting mostly near nipple. Lock plate is marked, ''HARPERS'', ''FERRY'', ''1850'', & The great seal of the united states over, ''US'', barrel is marked, ''P B'' over ''P'', ''V'' over ''P'' over eagle, hammer is marked ''V''. Bore is smoothbore & rates fair with rust & light pitting. Blade front sight that's attached to front barrel band. Metal buttplate with wear & brown patina & is marked ''US'' on upper tang, bottom sling swivels. Missing ram rod. Antique/Muzzleloader No FFL Req. - Value: 600 to 1200
