Steyr, Model M95 Repetier-Karabinerstutzen, Cal: 8x50mmR, MFG: 1918, S/N: 1240Q, Straight pull bolt action rifle, 19 1/4'' barrel, The original semi-pistol grip wood stock is very good with light dings, dents, scratches, & wear from use/age, left side of stock by the buttplate is marked with the S/N, ''12'', & a crest are stamped into the bottom of the semi-pistol grip, ''N'' marked on bottom of stock Infront of magazine, top of stock on the right side by the rear sight is marked ''8''. The metal finish rates 90% with light scratches & wear. Left side of receiver is marked with S/N, top of receiver is marked, ''STEYER'', ''M.95'', left side of barrel is marked with S/N, top of barrel is marked ''W-n'' Eagle ''18''. Bore is excellent, bright with minimal wear. Barleycorn front sight, V-notch ladder rear sight marked 6 to 24. Steel buttplate with minor rust. Bottom & side sling mounts. Most M95 Rifles were converted to 8x56 in the 1930s, this rifle did not get converted & is still in its original caliber & configuration which is rare and hard to find.
