RARE, CASE ENGRAVED, Colt, Model Single Action Army, Third Model, Model, CAL: 44 SPECIAL, MFG: 1978, SN: 99298SA, Single Action Revolver, 7 1/2''' barrel. This revolver features fantastic factory scroll & punchdot engraving on th barrel frame & cylinder. The top of the barrel is marked ''COLT'S PT F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD CT. U.S.A.'', The left side of barrel is stamped ''COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY 44 SPECIAL''. The side of frame is stamped ''PAT, SEPT.19. 1871 JULY 2. 72 JAN. 19. 75''. The original Rampant Colt & eagle plastic checkered grips are excellent. The metal blue finish on the barrel, triggerguard, straps & cylinder rates 99%. The frame displays fantastic & vivid case-colors. Bore is mint. The barrel holds a tall front blade. Comes in a Colt dovetailed display case, with red interior & the Rampant Colt on the top & interior lid. A very collectable cased engraved Colt revolver. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 3000 to 5000
