HAFDASA, Model ''Ballester Molina'', CAL: 45 ACP, MFG: 1938-53, SN: 28252, Semi Auto Pistol, 5'' barrel. The grooved wood grips are very good & solid, with handling marks, nicks & dings. The matte finish on the frame is excellent. The metal blue finish on the slide rates 97%, with consistent light speckling. Bore is excellent, with minor spotting amongst strong rifling. The slide carries notch & blade sights. All matching SN on the slide, bolt, frame & magazine. The Ballester Molina was designed to serve alongside the Modelo 1927 that was currently in Argentine service. It bears a striking resemblance to the Colt M1911A1. The Ballester Molina & the M1911 share an identical seven-round magazine, barrel, recoil spring, & barrel bushing. Many other parts appear identical at first glance, but only the barrel & magazine are interchangeable. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 400 to 800
