Winchester, Model 1873 Saddle Ring Carbine, 3rd model, .32 WCF Cal., MFG: 1897, SN: 509559B, Lever Action Carbine, 20'' Round barrel, Full mag. The original wood stocks are very good & solid, having been lightly sanded & refinished. The wood has a nice aged or darkened rich chocolate brown appearance. There are a few minor handling marks or rubs to the stock. The forend has a tight 4'' crack & a couple of tight 1'' grain cracks at the tip, along with minor contusions & scrapes. The original metal blue finish on the barrel & mag rates 85%. The receiver has worn gun metal gray, with a thin layer of brown patina present. Fitted with a flip-up ladder rear & box carbine front sights. Bore is excellent. Metal carbine butt. Original saddle ring, with leather lashing. Tight smooth action. Comes with a Cody Factory Records Letter confirming configuration & dates. A very nice & desirable Model 1873 SRC in the rarer 32 WCF.* Antique, No FFL Req. - Value: 5000 to 8000
