Winchester, Model 1873, 3rd Variation, Marked .38 WCF, MFG: 1896, SN: 507053B, Lever Action Rifle, 24'' Octagon barrel, Full mag. The original straight grip wood stock & forend are excellent & solid, with a minor handling marks, scratches & dings to the original thinned finish. The metal blue finish has worn to a mix of mostly gun metal gray & a brown patina, with remnants of remaining blue in more protected areas. Bore is good, with areas of speckled roughness amongst strong rifling. The barrel holds an adjustable buckhorn rear sight & pinch blade front sight. Stock carries a sliding trapdoor crescent metal buttplate. A solid & original 1873.* Antique, No FFL Req. - Value: 2500 to 3500
