Winchester, Model 1873, 3rd model, .44 WCF Cal., MFG: 1882, SN: 109207A, Lever Action Rifle, 24 1/2'' Round barrel, Full mag. The original wood stocks are good, as sanded & refinished. There are numerous small handling marks, contusions & scratched in initials which remain & a couple areas where filler was used on larger defects. The forearm has a full length crack which has an attempted glue repair. The metal finish is a combination of worn original finish, with a hand applied finish with has a grayish brown tone. Fitted with an adjustable rear & a Lyman blade front sights. Bore is good, but with roughness amongst solid rifling. Stock carries a sliding trapdoor crescent metal buttplate. Smooth tight action. This would make a great antique shooter. Antique, No FFL Req. - Value: 800 to 1500
