Winchester, Model 92 SRC, marked 44 WCF, MFG. 1907, SN: 387705, Lever Action Rifle, 20'' Round Barrel, Full mag. The original wood stocks are excellent & solid. They carry the original finish, with some minor handling blemishes, contusions or scuffs & a couple of larger contusions or scrapes on the belly of the stock. The original meal blue finish remains at 70% on the mag with the rest thinned to a brown patina. The barrel has mostly toned to a thin brown patina, remains of blue in more protected areas. The receiver has worn mostly gun meatal gray, with a thin spotty brown patina. Bore is very good, but with spotty areas of roughness amongst strong rifling. Fitted with a 50', 100', 200' folding leaf rear sight & carbine box front sight. Metal carbine buttplate. Original staple saddle ring. Tight action. A fantastic original condition little carbine & very collectible in the desired 44 caliber. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 2000 to 4000
