RARE Winchester, Model 1894 Take-Down, marked 30 W.C.F., MFG: 1904, SN: 231405, Lever Action Rifle, 26'' RARE Fast Tapered Xtra Lite Barrel, half mag. A lot of special order features on this rifle. The original straight grip, shotgun butt wood stocks are excellent, with several light contusions or minor handling marks to the excellent original finish. The original factory blue is 98% on barrel & mag, 85% on receiver & barrel, with loss due to thinning on the receiver. The case-hardened lever & hammer still display fading case colors. Bore is excellent. Rifle is fitted with special order Lyman tang sight, folding 50', 100' & 200' folding leaf rear sight & a Lyman tall blade on base front sight with an ivory bead. Stock carries a Winchester widow's peak, plastic shotgun buttplate. Factory sling eyelets. Tight smooth action. A uniquely configured special order rifle in all original excellent condition & highly collectible.* FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 5000 to 7000
