Winchester, Model 70 Super Grade, marked 22 HORNET, MFG. 1949, SN: 104041, Bolt Action Rifle, 24'' Tapered round barrel, Pre-64, Factory deluxe walnut wood stock has the Super Grade raised cheek piece, deluxe wraparound checkering, black pistol cap & forend tip. The original wood stock & checkering is excellent. The finish is excellent with few tiny handling marks. The black tip of forearm has had some black finish touch up of a couple of scuffs or spots of flaking. The stock presents overall excellent. The Metal blue is 98% on barrel, receiver & floorplate, with the Super Grade marking. Fitted with original hooded ramp front & adj. rear sights. Bore is excellent, shiny & bright. Factory metal checkered & widow's peak buttplate. Factory sling provision, with unattached sling swivels. Has an after market Model 70 hang tag. 13 1/2'' LOP, Excellent overall appearance, high condition & collectible. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 6000 to 9000
