Winchester, Model 70 Featherweight, CAL: 270 WIN, MFG: 1955, SN: 348033, Bolt Action Rifle, 22'' barrel. The original checkered & flat pistol grip Monte Carlo wood stock is excellent & solid. The original finish has minor scrapes, scuffs & scratches. The original metal blue finish on the barrel rates 98%, 95% matte finish on receiver, with minor scuffs. Bore is excellent & bright, with sharp rifling. The receiver is factory tapped & drilled, for potential scope mounting. The barrel holds a single leaf folding rear sight & ramp elevated hooded blade front sight. Stock carries a checkered metal buttplate. Factory sling loops. A desirable Pre-64 featherweight Mod 70 in a popular deer hunting caliber. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 1200 to 2500
