Winchester, Model 70 Featherweight, CAL: 30-06, MFG: 1958, SN: 430235, Bolt Action Rifle, 22'' barrel. The original checkered & flat pistol grip Monte Carlo wood stock is very good & solid. The original finish has worn heavily in the wrist & carry points, along with other minor scrapes, scuffs & scratches. The original metal blue finish on the barrel rates 95%, 90% matte finish on receiver, with minor scuffs. Bore is excellent & bright. The receiver is factory tapped & drilled, & mounted with a Leupold 4-12X40mm scope, while the barrel holds a single leaf folding rear sight & ramp elevated hooded blade front sight. Stock carries a ventilated recoil pad. Factory sling loops. A desirable Pre-64 featherweight Mod 70 in a popular deer hunting caliber. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 800 to 1500
