Remington, Model 40-XB KS, CAL: 22-250, MFG: 1987, SN: 055912B, Bolt Action Single Shot Rifle, 27 1/4'' barrel. Built by Remington Custom Shop, first year production. The original raised cheek & flat pistol grip Kevlar stock, Aramid fiber finish, is excellent. There are a few handling marks to the finish. The bright finished stainless steel barrel is excellent. It comes tapped & drilled with filler screws for sight mounting, but come without sights from the factory. The metal blue finish on the receiver rates 98%. Bore is minty. The receiver carries a Bushnell Weatherproof 6-18x40 scope, held by a Redfield base. Stock carries a Remington solid recoil pad & an unmarked bi-pod. A must-have rifle for bench or target shooters.
