FABULOUS Factory Custom Shop Weatherby Custom Mark V, CAL: 300 Weatherby Mag, MFG: 1972-94, SN: H174525, Bolt Action Rifle, 25'' Tapered barrel, including muzzle break. The stock displays expertly executed & extensive, deep relief scroll leaf carvings & stippled background. The floor plate & inlaid diamond in the bottom of the forearm have beautiful hand accent engraving. The rifle mounted with a very finely figured, cheeked & pistol grip, Monte Carlo stock. The rippled & fiery grain within the walnut stock is fantastic. Stock features 3 layer contrasting rose wood forend tip & grip cap. The stock is nicely inlaid with four multi wood diamond/oval designs, with the one on the underside of the forend also containing the gold metal inscription plate accented with hand engraving. The original high gloss finish is excellent with only a couple of very minor handling marks. The original high luster metal blue finish is 99%. Bore is nearly mint. Rifle carries a Leupold 3x9 Vari-XIIc Scope, no open sight provisions. Buttstock carries a Weatherby, ventilated, brown rubber recoil pad. Jeweled bolt. Sling studs. This fabulous custom shop Weatherby is an example of their finest hand craftsmanship & is highly collectible as a true work of art. FFL Req. - Value: 4000 to 6500
