SAKO, Model M98, CAL: .270, MFG: mid 1950's, SN: 107085, Bolt Action Rifle, 24'' barrel. This model is built on a FN M98 Action, with a SAKO stock & barrel. The original checkered flat pistol grip stock, with beaded cheek is good. There's a 4'' long edge chip on the front left side of the forearm & some edge fill along the left side of the receiver. There are numerous other contusions, scrapes, nicks & scratches to the original finish, which is beginning to wear thin & flake in some spots. The metal blue finish rates 98% overall. Bore is excellent. The receiver is factory tapped & drilled with four screw filled holes. The barrel has an elevated folding leaf rear sight & a ramp elevated hooded blade front sight. Sling studs. Stock carries a Pachmayr ventilated recoil pad. A quality deer hunting rifle. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 400 to 800
