Mossberg, Model 4X4 Hunting Tradition NRA Idaho Commemorative Special Edition, CAL: 300 WIN MAG, MFG: 2012, SN: BA275333, Bolt Action Rifle, 24'' free floating & fluted barrel, 26'' with the muzzle brake. This firearm was a special fund raising edition for the NRA by American Legacy Firearms. There were just 100 rifles produced for each state, this being # 12 of 100 for Idaho. The American-walnut stocks are ornately engraved with wilderness scenes depicting a father & son sharing a hunt of two buck dear. The forearm displays engraved popular North American big-game animals of a bear, ram, deer & moose. The bottom of the fore-end is engraved with ''National Rifle Association''. The engraving on the stock was done by SWS Engraving in Hope, Ark., a plant owned & operated by Hanson. The stock is finished with an extra-durable coating to protect the engraving during normal use. All metal parts, including the barrel & receiver, are buffed, blued, engraved & then plated in gold, nickel or blue, as the design dictates. The left side having cow & bull elk, the right Prong horn & the ''NRA'' in silver & gold. The bolt is nickel-plated and then hand-jeweled. The metal work done by American Legacy Fireworks, Inc. The original checkered. engraved & capped pistol grip walnut stock remains mint. The original metal blue finish remains new. Bore is mint. The receiver holds a couple of scope blocks for future scope mounting, with no open sight provisions. Mossberg solid recoil pad & sling studs. Detachable mag. Steve Faler & American Legacy Firearms have a mantra, ''Life's too short to shoot an ugly gun!'' With these words in mind, they produced this fine NRA Special edition. The rifle comes in the original box, with packaging, booklet & paperwork packet, & Lock. Basically new old stock. These sold for $1795 back in 2012. FFL Req. - Value: 1500 to 2500
