Husqvarna, Repeating Rifle 640, CAL: 30-06, MFG: 1951, SN: 116576, Bolt Action Rifle, 23 5/8'' barrel. The checkered & capped flat pistol grip wood stock is very good & solid. There is a 2'' crack off the back of the receiver & a small 1'' grain crack coming off the back of the trigger guard, otherwise in great condition. The metal blue finishes are a combination of original blue & added blue finishes rating 85% overall. Bore is excellent. The receiver has a side mounted Redfield adjustable rear sight & its also tapped & drilled, with (4) screw filled holes. The barrel has a blank filled rear dovetail & a ramp elevated blade front sight. Stock carries a Pachmayr ventilated recoil pad. Comes with leather sling. A utilitarian hunting rifle built on one of the most durable actions ever made. FFL or C&R Req - Value: 300 to 500
