Remington Woodsmaster Model 742, CAL 30-06, MFG: 1969, SN: 7004803, Semi-Auto Rifle, 22'' barrel including the ''CMB'' Custom Muzzle Break. An improved version of the 740 rifle. The original checkered & capped pistol grip wood stocks are excellent & solid. There are small chatter marks at top of wrist & comb, other minor scrapes & contusions to the original finish. There is also a quarter sized scrape on the left side of the stock at the buttplate. The original metal blue finish rates 95% on receiver, 90% on barrel & 80% on the removable mag. The mag has two tapped holes on the bottom flat. Bore is excellent. The receiver carries a rail scope block, while the barrel holds a the original slide adjusting rear sight & no front sight. Buttstock carries a Remington marked plastic buttplate. Sling studs. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 400 to 600
