CASED & NEW Thompson Auto Ordnance Corporation, (Kahr Arms), 100 Year Anniversary Two Gun Set, Models Thompson 1927A-1 Rifle & Thompson 1911A1 GI Specs pistol., CAL: 45 ACP, MFG: 2016, SN's: A0A36283, KP2243, Semi Auto Rifle & Pistol, 16.5'' (18'' with compensator) & 5'' barrels. This is number 314 of 1500 sets produced to celebrate the 100 Year Anniversary 1916-2016 of the Thompson Auto Ordnance Corporation. Auto-Ordnance was a U.S. arms development firm founded by retired Colonel John T. Thompson of the United States Army Ordnance Department in 1916. Auto-Ordnance is best known for the Thompson submachine gun, used as a military weapon by the Allied forces in World War II, & also notorious as a gangster weapon used during the Roaring Twenties. Featured in the set is a deluxe replica of a Thompson 1927A-1 Carbine (Tommy Gun) & a Thompson 1911A1 GI Specs pistol. The deluxe American walnut vertical foregrip, pistol grip & fixed stock on the Tommy gun are mint, displaying beautiful wood grain & factory finish. The factory metal blue finishes are 99%+. The receiver is prominently engraved with the classic Thompson logo, limited edition numbers, & displays the words ''100th Anniversary'' on the matte black steel frame. The gun weighs 13 lbs. & has an overall length of 41''. Features include a pinned in front blade & an open rear adjustable sight. Bore is mint. Has the stick mag.
The 1911A1 carries original checkered, brown plastic grips which are mint. The original matte black metal finish is 100%. Bore is Mint. Overall length is 8.5'' & it weighs just 39 oz. The iron sights are front & rear dovetail cut low profile. Engraved with the iconic Thompson logo, the words 100th Anniversary, & lists the limited edition numbers on the frame. Hanging tags on both guns. The guns come stored together in a polymer hard case with the yellow Thompson Bullet logo & the words ''Chicago Typewriter'' in white stamped on the black case cover. Factory owner's manuals, booklets & locks are included in case. Frank Harris, VP of Sales & Marketing, Kahr Firearms Group wrote, ''We are proud to honor the name & the legacy of General John T.
