Desirable Pre- Ban Heckler & Koch, HK91, CAL: .308, MFG: 1981, SN: A029834, Semi Auto Rifle, 17 3/4'' barrel. The original retractable stock, grip & triangular forend are all excellent. The matte black/military style finish rates 99% overall. Bore is mint. The rifle is fitted with the original iron sights. The receiver holds an original German claw scope mount & a correct time period German scope. The bottom of the mount is marked ''SchuBrichtung'', the left side is marked ''1240-12-140-9932''. The scope is marked ''KARL KAPS'', ''ASSLAR/WETZLAR'', ''1240-12-144-0714'' & there is a gold sticker above all the markings that reads in two lines '' BWB 1436'' inside eagle wings. The front of the stock carries the original bipod. Comes with the detachable magazine. Missing rear take-down pin. The HK91 is a semi-automatic rifle version of the Heckler & Koch G3 automatic rifle that was produced by Heckler & Koch for the civilian market in the 1960' s.
