RARE DELUXE Winchester, Model 90 HALF NICKELED, 3rd variation, .22 SHORT, Cal., MFG. 1919, SN: 619545, Pump Action Rifle, 24'' Tapered Octagon barrel, The rare deluxe, hand checkered & capped pistol grip wood stocks are excellent. The stock displays fabulous XXX quality rippled grain. Stock carries the original finish, with an added thin protective layer. Checkering is excellent, but points are rounded from normal carry wear. There are small handling marks & light contusions. The left side of the lower receiver tang is stamped with the assembly # 7507, which is also pencil written on the end of the buttstock under the buttplate. The nickeled finish on the receiver & buttplate is excellent, with no flaking or visible wear other than very thin faint brush lines. The factory metal blue finish is 80%, with higher coverage, but loss due to thinning depth & areas of thinning to a plum/brown patina. The mag tube has just a thin layer of brown patina remaining. Rifle fitted with a Lyman large disc tang peep sight, blank filled rear dovetail & factory small blade front sight. Bore is excellent. Extremely rare configured deluxe rifle in high collectors condition.* FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 7500 to 10000
