UNIQUE Winchester, Model 1906 , .22 SHORT., MFG: 1906, SN: 13760, Pump Action Rifle, 20'' Round barrel, This is a first year rifle, with British proof stampings on the barrel, bolt & receiver. It also carries the professional engraving of ''WILKINSON PALL MALL'' on the left side of the receiver. The original straight grip wood stocks are excellent. The forearm is the smooth style. The original finish is excellent, with virtually no rubs or handling marks. The original metal blue finish rates 85% overall, despite full coverage simply due to some thinning loss & barrel starting to tone slightly brown. Bore is good, but with areas of worn roughness amongst good rifling. Fitted with standard barrel sights. Winchester plastic buttplate, with engraved screws.
