Winchester, Model 52 Target gun, marked 22 L.Rifle, MFG. 1963, SN: 115584D, Bolt action rifle, 28'' Round Heavy Barrel. The custom, finger grooved & thumbhole pistol grip wood target stock is very good. The original finish is very good, but with numerous light contusions & scratches. There is an added piece of wood attached to the top of the comb to add additional height. The original metal blue finish rates 95% on barrel, receiver & trigger guard, but the trigger guard has been modified on the right rear portion. Fitted with a Redfield International Match receiver sight. The front of the barrel carries a sight or scope block, with four screw filled holes in the barrel for possible sight or scope mounting. Bore is excellent. Stock carries a Sure Grip muti-adjustable buttplate system, while the underside of the stock has an inlaid attachment rail. A unique & quality custom target rifle.
