Shultz & Larsen, Model 70, CAL: 22 LR, MFG: 1970-77, SN: 21475 (Importer SN: SCH00076), Bolt Action Rifle, 26 3/4'' barrel. The M70 is a precision made, heavy target barrel, single shot .22 LR caliber rifle featuring outstanding match grade accuracy. Each rifle is fitted with a target competition stock & adjustable target rear sights. Sights may slightly vary from rifle to rifle. The original flat pistol grip target stock on this example is excellent & solid. There are numerous minor scrapes, nicks & dings to the original finish. The number ''4'' is marked on the right side of the stock above the front sling loop & the bolt knob flat is also stamped ''4''. There is a shooting sticker below the ''4'' on the stock that reads '' VABENEFTERSYN 2005''. The factory metal blue finish rates 90% overall, with light speckling. Bore is excellent. There is a side mounted fully adjustable aperture receiver sight & large hooded silhouette front sight. Sling loops. Stock carries a grooved hard rubber recoil pad. An interesting fact about the model 70; it was adopted by Scandinavian Rifle Associations in Norway & Sweden. S&L produced about 7500 of the M70 rifles, so fairly scarce. These are very interesting rifles, with a unique history. A must-have for small bore shooters. FFL Req. - Value: 300 to 600
