Savage, Model 23A Sporter, CAL: 22LR, MFG: N/A, SN: 126280, Bolt Action Rifle, 23 1/4'' barrel. The checkered flat pistol grip wood stock, with schnabel forend, is excellent. We believe this is actually a Model 23AA sinch checkered, as the 23A came with a plain pistol grip stock. There is an added layer of finish or varnish, which is excellent. The restored metal blue finish rates 90%. Bore is excellent. The receiver holds an adjustable aperture sight, while the barrel holds an adjustable rear sight & an elevated globe front sight. Stock carries a Savage smooth metal buttplate. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 200 to 400
