Roberts, Model: Goose Gun, Cal: 8 Ga, MFG: 1893-97, S/N: 2010, Break SxS Shotgun, 36'' damascus barrels. The checkered flat knob semi-pistol grip wood stock is very good with checkering wear, light nicks, dings, & wear from use/age, different color wood star embedded in left & right side of stock. The metal on the barrel has toned to a brown patina with remnants of the damascus pattern, the metal on the receiver has toned to a light brown patina with spots of gun metal gray. Left & right side of receiver is marked ''ROBERTS GOOSE GUN'', ''BELGIUM'', all side of the receiver is marked with nice ornamental engravings. Bores are very good, left bore has light roughness, right bore has roughness & light pitting. Barrel rib holds a bead front sight. Stock carries a grooved hard rubber buttplate. Lockup has a slight gap between barrels & recover & has small amount of play. LOP: 15'', DAH: 3 1/8'', DAC: 1 3/4''. Damascus barrels are not safe to shoot smokeless loads or steel shot out of. A.) If you signed up and asked us to bill your credit card & ship all items ASAP then that is what we will do. No further notice will be sent.
