J.P. Sauer & Son, West German, Model: Hammerless, 12 Ga., MFG: 1961, S/N: 285449, Break SxS Shotgun, Choke: Full/Mod, 26'' barrels. The checkered Semi-pistol grip wood stock is very good with minor nicks, dings, dents & wear from use, but is still in really good condition. The barrels retain 95% bluing with small scratches & light wear, The receiver was left in the white from the factory. Left & right side of the receiver is engraved with a scene of flying ducks, bottom of receiver is marked ''ORIGINAL SAUER'', with a crest of a man standing with a club, left side of the barrels are marked ''J.P SAUER & SOHN'', ''MADE IN W-GERMANY'', '' LAUFSTAHL'', ''BOCHUMER VEREIN'', 12/70/2 3/4'''', Right side of barrels is marked ''J.P SAUER & SOHN'', ''MADE IN W-GERMANY'', '' LAUFSTAHL'', ''BOCHUMER VEREIN''. Bores are excellent. Barrel holds a bead front sight. Stock has a after-market ventilated recoil pad. Bottom sling swivels. Lockup is tight & has no play. LOP: 14 7/8'', DAH: 2 3/4'', DAC: 1 3/4''.
