FANTASTIC, Winchester, Model 101, PIGEON GRADE, 20 ga, MFG. 1963-87, SN: PK25707, Over & Under Shotgun, 32'' Matted Ventilated barrels, with two white beads, F/M. The model 101 started production in 1963 with the 12 ga. The 20 ga enter production in 1966 & the 28 ga & .410 bore were first introduced in 1968. Serialization records do not exist beyond 1971 when SN's for the 20 ga., 28 ga. & .410 bore was at 228,500. Production continued between 1971 & 87. It is likely this example's SN places it in the mid 70's. The original checkered & flat knob wood stocks are excellent, with very few tiny handling marks to the high gloss original finish. The original metal blue finish is 98% on barrels, with excellent silver tone finish on the scroll engraved receiver. Belly of receiver carries an engraved pigeon. The matted rib is stamped ''PIGEON GRADE'' & carries white mid & front beads. Bores are excellent. Original Winchester ventilated buttpad. LOP 14 5/8'' over pad. DAC 1 1/4'' & DAH 1 3/4''. Comes in a gray/blue hard case, with warranty card, booklet & sticker. An excellent, original condition & highly collectible Pigeon grade 101. FFL Req. - Value: 2000 to 4000
