Pedersoli, Model: Trapdoor Springfield, Cal: .45-70, MFG: modern, S/N: TD04470, Single shot breech loading rifle, 32 5/8'' barrel. The straight wrist wood stock is excellent with almost no wear. The metal finish rates 98% with little to no wear. Left side of receiver is marked with proof marks, left side of barrel is marked with S/N, ''dp'' in a circle, ''PEDERSOLI-SPRINGFIELD TRAPDOOR 32'''', ''MADE IN ITALY/15'', ''cal. 45/70'', & proof marks, top of barrel is marked ''DIXIE GUN WORKS INC.- UNION CITY, TN''. Bore is excellent with little to no wear. Barleycorn front sight with tangent/ladder V-notch rear sight marked 1 to 4 on base, 7 to 12 on ladder. Steel, case hardened butt plate with light wear. Has cleaning rod, bottom sling swivels & stacking swivel. A nicely made reproduction of the classic trapdoor Springfield. FFL Req. - Value: 800 to 1400
