BSA, Model: No4 Mk1 Santa Fe Special. Cal: .303 British. MFG: 1942-44. S/N: AX3535. Bolt action Rifle. 23 1/2'' Barrel. The cut down semi pistol grip wood stock is good, with scratches Gouges, dents & wear from use/age, stock appears to have been lightly sanded & re-finished, most likely when it was sporterized by Golden state arms Co. The metal finish rates 90% overall. Left side of wrist band is marked ''M47C'', ''ENGLAND'', & S/N, left side of receiver is marked, ''NO.4 MK.1'', top of receiver is marked with proof mark, left side of the barrel is marked, ''SANTA FE SPECIAL'', ''SANTA FE DIV. GOLDEN STATE ARMS CORP.'', ''PASADENA. CALIFORNIA. U.S.A.'', S/N Matching bolt. Bore is excellent. Blade front sight, two position flip up rear sight marked 300 & 600 respectively, Brass trapdoor Butt plate with hole is stock for cleaning kit, kit is missing, Magazine is missing, bottom sling swivels, front swivel is a after market add on rear is original. This is a BSA made No.4 Mk.1 lee Enfield that was imported by golden sate arms and sporterized by them & then sold on the American market. FFL Or C&R Req. - Value: 100 to 300
