Izhevsk. Model: 91/30. Cal: 7.62x54mmR. MFG: 1942. S/N: ny2107. Bolt Action Rifle. 28 3/4'' Barrel. The straight wrist wooden stock is very good with small nicks, dings, dents, scratches, & wear, from use/age. The metal finish rates 40% overall with most spots worn to a gun metal gray, top of barrel is marked with Hammer & sickle in circle of wheat, ''1942'', S/N & Arrow in triangle, end of barrel is stamped with importer marks, S/N mismatched bolt, floor plate, & butt plate. Bore is very good, beginning to darken with little to no wear to rifling. Post front sight with protective globe, U-notch Tangent Rear sight marked 1 to 20. steel butt plate with small nicks & wear, upper tang is marked ''BK31''. Missing cleaning rod. This rifle shows the rushed production of Mosin's during 1942, would make a good collectors piece or a nice shooter. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 250 to 500
