Tula, Model: SKS-45, Cal: 7.62x39, MFG: 1951, S/N: nN1032, Semi-auto Rifle, 20 3/8'' Barrel. The semi-Pistol grip wood stock is very good, stock appears to be a factory replacement done when it was re-arsenal, stock has two 1'' x 1/4'' inlaid wood repairs on bottom sides of stock by bayonet, one on each side, lots of various cartouches on stock, left side is marked with the Tula arsenal star, ''1954r'', ''XX XXXX'', & S/N, top rear of stock is marked with a square cartouche with non-legible letters inside, ''P'', ''O'', ''2'', one faint stamp on right side of stock, bottom of wrist is marked with a ''10'', ''5'' in square, stock has various nicks, dings, dents, scratches, & wear from use/age. The black paint finish was added when Russia re-arsenal the rifles & it is 95% with light scratches & wear marks. Top of receiver cover is marked with Tula arsenal star stamp, ''1951r'', left side of receiver is marked with proof marks, S/N, & importer marks, right side of receiver is marked with proof marks, rear of barrel is stamped with proof marks, Bolt, magazine, & trigger guard are all S/N matched. Bore is Excellent with very little wear. Hooded front sight post, tangent U-notch rear sight marked 1 to 10. Steel trapdoor Butt plate with full cleaning kit inside, Butt plate has scratches & wear. One bottom & one side sling mount, comes with a orginal surplus Russian sks sling. A excellent collectors piece that's in very good condition. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 600 to 1200
