Chinese Factory 306, Model: Type 56, Cal: 7.62x39, MFG: 1971-72, S/N: 1622765, Semi-auto Rifle, 20 1/2'' Barrel. The semi-Pistol grip wood stock is excellent with light nicks, dings, scratches & wear, left side of the stock is marked with the last 6 #'s of S/N. The metal finish rates 90% on the barrel with light wear, & rates 85% on the receiver with one spot of thinning, & has light scratches. Left side of receiver is marked with triangle Factory stamp, ''TYPE 56 CARBINE'' in Chinese, S/N, right side of receiver is stamped with importer marks, Bolt, magazine, & trigger guard are all S/N matched, has replaced receiver cover pin. Bore is Excellent, bright & mirror like. Hooded post front sight, tangent U-notch rear sight marked 1 to 10. Steel trapdoor Butt plate with full cleaning kit inside, Butt plate has scratches & wear. One bottom & one side sling mount, comes with period correct green canvas sling. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 400 to 800
