Chinese Factory 156, Model: Type 56, Cal: 7.62x39, MFG: 1971-72, S/N: 1610290, Semi-auto Rifle, 20 3/8'' Barrel. The semi-Pistol grip wood stock is very good, left side of the stock is marked with a star & S/N, stock has various light nicks, dings, scratches, & wear from use/age. The metal finish rates 90% on the barrel with light wear, & rates 90% on the receiver with one spot of thinning. Left side of receiver is marked with triangle Factory stamp, ''TYPE 56 CARBINE'' in Chinese, S/N, ''A'', & ''P'', left side of receiver also has a sight rail, right side of receiver is stamped with importer marks, Bolt, magazine, & trigger guard are all S/N matched, barrel has no bayonet lug. Bore is Excellent, bright & mirror like. Hooded post front sight, tangent U-notch rear sight marked 1 to 10. Steel trapdoor Butt plate with full cleaning kit inside, Butt plate has scratches & wear. One bottom & one side sling mount. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 400 to 800
