Colt, New Service, CAL: 38 WCF, MFG: 1909, SN: 21591, Double Action Revolver, 7 1/2'' barrel. The checkered ''COLT'' plastic grips are excellent, with very little wear. The original metal blue finish on the barrel rates 40% of a thinned blue toning brown & 70% thinning blue on the frame/cylinder toning to brown patina, & with areas of greater loss on the straps worn gun metal gray. Bore is very good & bright. The barrel holds a blade front sight. Butt carries a lanyard swivel. Action & cylinder are tight & timing functions properly. Great appearance on the is original high condition survivor. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 800 to 1500
