Colt, Police Positive, CAL: 38 SPL, MFG: 1918, SN: 151718, Double Action Revolver, 4'' barrel. The top of the barrel is marked in two lines ''COLT'S PT F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD CT. U.S.A.'', ''PAT'D AUG.5.1884 JUNE5.1900 JULY 4 1905''. The left side of the barrel is marked ''POLICE POSITIVE 38 SPECIAL''. The left side of the frame is marked with the Rampant Colt logo behind the cylinder release. The full SN can be found on the frame & cylinder swing gate. The original, ''COLT'' & big ''C'' marked checkered hard rubber grips are excellent. The original metal blue finish rates 80% overall, with light thinning on the frame & wear loss at the muzzle & straps. Areas of loss toning to a brown patina. Bore is excellent. The barrel holds a blade front sight. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 600 to 1000
