Astra, Model 1921/400, Chilean Navy Pistol, CAL: 9mm, MFG: 1921-50, SN: 36496, Semi Auto Pistol, 6'' barrel. This pistol was the standard issue sidearm in the Spanish Army during the Spanish Civil War & also saw service in Germany during World War II. Designed to be safe to fire with a simple blowback action unaided by any breech-locking devices. This pistol carries all the original markings & proofs. Additionally, the top of the barrel is marked ''MARINA DE CHILE'' under a star. The original Astra logo checkered grips are good, worn from use & have color fading, nicks, dings & multiple small edge cracks. The metal blue finish has 90% coverage of a mix of original blue & brown patina, with small areas of cleaned pitting. Most of the finish loss found on the front & back straps. Bore is excellent. The slide holds notch & blade sights. Comes with an aftermarket hard case that includes (3) mags & a cleaning rod. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 200 to 400
