Spreework, P.38, VET BRING BACK, Cal: 9x19mm, MFG: 1943, S/N: 927D, Semi-auto pistol, 4 7/8'' barrel. The grooved bakelite grips are excellent with very minor handling wear. The metal finish rates 80% overall, most finish wear on front grip strap & smalls spots of wear/scratches & small spots of patina speckling. Left side of the slide is marked ''P.38'', ''cyq'', S/N, right side of slide is marked with Waffenamt proof marks, left side of frame is marked with S/N & a Waffenamt proof mark, front of frame is marked with S/N. Bore is very good bright, with minor wear. Blade front sight, with U-notch rear sight. Comes with original leather holster, back is marked ''gxy 1943'', ''P38'', & Waffenamt proof mark. Also, comes with 2 original extra mags. This is a WWII vet bring back from the consigner's father. An excellent WWII collector's piece. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 700 to 1400
