US, WW2 Woodsman Pal, Right side of blade is marked ''WOODSMAN PAL'', other makers marks are faintly viable but the pitting & patina makes it non-legible, Blade has cleaned light pitting & brown patina, these were used by the US army signal corps & also used heavily by solders in the pacific theater as a survival tool, but with the close quarters of the jungles & the fighting tactics of the Japanese there were pushed into service as a fighting knife many of times, there were used through out WW2 and were still used up into the 90's in desert storm primary as a survival tool for pilots, these originally came with a canvas zip up sheath but it is missing. Grade: Good ++ - Value: 50 to 100
