Winchester, Model 92 SRC, marked 38 WCF, MFG. 1908, SN: 429092, Lever Action Rifle, 20'' Round Barrel, Full mag. The original wood stocks are very good & solid. They carry the original finish, with an added thin layer of finish on the stock over the original finish. There are numerous minor handling blemishes, contusions or scuffs. There is a 2'' stress crack at the tip of the forend. The original metal blue finish remains at 80% on the barrel & mag. The receiver has worn mostly gun meatal gray, with a thin spotty brown patina & remains of blue in more protected areas. The case-hardened lever & hammer show the remains of faded case-colors. Bore is very good, but with spotty areas of roughness amongst strong rifling. The barrel is fitted with carbine folding ladder rear & box front sights. Metal carbine buttplate. Original staple saddle ring, with a leather wrap. Tight action. Comes with a Cody Firearms Look-up sheet. A solid & mostly original condition little carbine in 38 caliber. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 1500 to 2500
