Winchester, Model 1894, CAL: 25-35 WCF, MFG: 1899, SN: 78331, Lever Action Rifle, 26'' Octagon barrel, Full mag. The original wood stocks are very good, as sanded, cleaned & nicely refinished. There are a couple of small round fill spots at the front & rear of the upper comb. There remains very few handling marks or scuffs to the refinish. The barrel is a ''94'' marked replacement, with 80% of the original factory blue finish. The receiver & mag have worn gun metal gray, with the remains of a very thin brown patina. The case-hardened lever & hammer have worn gray. Bore is excellent. Barrel fitted with a 50', 100', 200' folding leaf rear & tall pinch blade front sights. Metal crescent buttplate. Tight smooth action. A solid take-down rifle that would make a great, nearly antique, deer hunter, especially with the near mint bore. Comes with a printed copy of a Cody Winchester letter confirming configuration & date. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 1500 to 2500
