Winchester, Model 1894 Saddle Ring Carbine, CAL: 30 WCF, MFG: 1917, SN: 858265, Lever Action Carbine, 20'' Round barrel, Full mag. The original straight grip wood stocks are very good & solid, as sanded & refinished. There is a small gap in the fit of the shoulder of the stock & receiver on both sides, which does not appear to be a missing sliver or break, but does need to be mentioned. There also remains some of the minor scratches & contusions. The original metal blue finish rates 70%, but with lots of spotty areas loss, cleaned corrosion & pitting. Bore is excellent. The barrel holds an adjustable rear sight & carbine box front sight. Stock carries a carbine metal buttplate. Original saddle ring. Tight action. Has a nice appearance & should be a good shooter.
