BOXED, Henry Repeating Arms Co, Model H001 Historical Armory Inc Custer County South Dakota, CAL: 22LR, MFG: Modern, SN: 957863H, Lever Action Rifle, 18 1/2'' barrel. The custom engraved straight grip wood stocks are excellent. The right side of the stock displays original artwork, & finely detailed engraving to celebrate the history of Custer County. The right side of the forend is marked ''CUSTER COUNTY EST.1875 SOUTH DAKOTA'' encompassed by decorative floral scroll. The left side of the forend is marked ''THE MOUNT RUSHMORE STATE'', also with decorative floral scroll. The left side of the receiver is marked ''5 OF 25 UNITED STATES OF AMERICA EST JULY 4TH 1776'' & the right side of the receiver is marked ''THE 40TH STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA EST NOV 2, 1889''. The straight grip wood stock is excellent. The metal blue finish rates 99% overall. Bore is excellent. The barrel holds an adjustable rear sight & hooded post front sight. Stock has Henry checkered plastic buttplate. Comes in original box, with related paperwork. Box condition is good, with overall wear. There were only 25 Custer County South Dakota rifle sets ever produced by Historical Armory. FFL Req. - Value: 600 to 800
